Dr. Mary Ellen Mackesy-Amiti is Research Assistant Professor in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health, and a member of Community Outreach Intervention Projects. She received her Ph.D. in social psychology, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in epidemiology & biostatistics. She is currently the principal investigator of a NIDA-funded project to conduct secondary analyses of data from the CIDUS-3/DUIT prevention intervention with young injection drug users, using latent variable mixture modeling.
