Scott Cotler

Dr. Scott Cotler is the Director of the Division of Hepatology at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Cotler has been actively involved with hepatitis (HCV) treatment and research for 17 years, and has participated in HCV clinical trials, viral hepatitis kinetic analysis, HCV prevalence studies and mathematical modeling of in-host viral hepatitis dynamics during antiviral treatment. Recently, he was involved in developing mathematical models the within order to predict the cost and effect of IFN-free DAA-treatment scale-up among persons who inject drugs (PWID) in Chicago (submitted). Dr. Cotler has extensive experience in providing provide medical expertise in hepatitis C treatment design, modeling and implementation.
